I’ve been practising hypnosis and hypnotherapy in a clinical setting for more than 13 years. I initially studied hypnosis at Victoria’s only Government registered hypnotherapy training body, The Academy of Hypnotic Science.I have further studied with prominent Hypnotist Rick Collingwood achieving my Advance Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis. I’ve studied under world renowned Psychologist Dr Gordon Emmerson, founder of Ego State Therapy, and Honorary Fellow of Victoria University’s School of Psychology.

Is a trauma informed empowering psychotherapy based on the understanding that the personality is composed of parts. The part that presents an issue in therapy is seldom the part that needs change. The presenting part is complaining about another personality part. The Asset Therapist brings the part of the personality that needs change into the conscious, so it can be worked with directly. This facilitates a quicker, deeper, and longer lasting change.
Resource Therapy is receiving much attention around the world as a superior trauma informed strength based parts psychotherapy, capable of attending to and relieving PTSD, including complex presentations. The power of RT lies in its ability to treat long standing client issues immediately and effectively within the therapy hour, bringing about significant improvement and often complete and lasting relief from the presenting issue.
I’ve been a professional member of The Australian Hypnotherapist’s Association (The AHA), Australia’s oldest and most prominent Hypnotherapy Association. This membership requires that I undergo regular up to date training, and professional development. All this means really is that I didn’t just do a weekend course to practice hypnosis. Things I’m known for include public speaking hypnosis and helping people with their anxieties.
I am a proud father of two twin boys, and I have a beautiful partner who is sick of me leaving hypnosis and psychology books around the house. I am originally from Peru where my beautiful mother still resides.
I love Australia because it is my home. Full of good people, excellent coffee and a wonderful culture. I hope that in the next 10 years more and more people get to know evidence-based hypnosis and its powerful potential in helping people move on and make positive changes to their lives.
